It is suspected that this uses the Panasonic double shutter LCD technology, which offers near black levels. So, it will be interesting to see if Pansonic introduces anything at IFA in a week or so like a replacement for the DX900 HDR TV.

The FSI version with the same panel is priced at $40K. I'm guessing this one will be around $25K to $30K.

I know Flanders is expensive, but how are they going to justify that against a Dolby Vision panel with 16 bit? 10 bits is not my choice for anything expensive. Isn't this monitor a significant step up from the ColorEdge?

Out of curiousity Phil, how was it on the angle?

I ask, because the LG Nano technology maybe a good solution and I wonder if they needed to and if so, what they used?

The Dolby Pulsar is a 10-bit panel, not 16. It can simulate 12-bit by using dual modulation. The FSI is listed at $45K. Given just how expensive the Panel is from Panasonic, EIZO is not going to be a lot cheaper than FSI.

The X300 is the lower price solution, which sounds funny.

There is no such thing as a Dolby Vision panel in post. It’s HDR PQ or its not. Dolby is a delivery format.

Not bad. We had the demo unit to do some tests on before a Pulsar grading session. I have no clue what the price will be.
