30fps & 40fps

Hi Everyone,

Maybe I'm just missing something, but I'm only seeing 30fps & 40fps for the recording frame rate.. The "project time base" has the wide range of frame rates. Am I reading this wrong as I thought the recording frame rate should have the wide range of options.

The available options for fps are determined by both 1) your resolution settings and 2) your time base settings. Am I right to guess you're in 6k, 30 fps time base? Not sure if this is what you're looking for but, if you want to record 24fps, you'll need to change your time base to 24fps first.

If you're looking for the ability to choose a wider range of recording fps, there's a separate thread here that you can look up requesting more/variable frame rates (e.g. 3k/72fps).

Hey Harvey, I appreciate your info. I was in 6K , but wanted 24fps. For some reason I didn't think the recording frame rate was limited to what the time base was. That's on me. I'll try to change the time base first.
