2x Anamorphic 16:9 extraction aspect ratio

Hullo,

I think I read somewhere that there is a new 16:9 extraction from 2xANA mode for 16:9 delivery on the latest red firmware rather than 2:35:1 delivery like you can donon an Alexa but I can't find it in the menu anywhere. I know it will crop a bit but that's ok.

Any ideas?

Wow I must really check out Reduser more often, sorry I missed this Ryan! Yes I figured it out, 8:9 works an absolute treat. Crops in a little but my 35mm Lomo SF is still pretty wide even on Helium.

Something a bit cumbersome but cool to do for square ana is to roll camera 90 deg and then mount the lens so the ana element is still as should be. then the whole sensor can be in use to create a square ana image. Rolling shutter then goes sideways but yes you can get full monstro square ana images, cool for instagram if nothing else.
