240 SSD Card Can't Do Better than 10:1...!?

I just bought the new 240gb SSD card and I'm a bit concerned. The best compression it'll let me do is 10:1, the rest are greyed out. When I put the other 64gb cards in, the better resolutions open back up.

Also, a major, major issue is that it's supposed to hold 240gigs of data... on my 64gb cards, shooting 8:1, it's roughly half a minute per gig, so roughly 30 minutes of footage per card (if I remember correctly). With this 240gb card, I did a test and have exactly 3:48 minutes of footage and it's saying it's 97% free... so, roughly four minutes of footage, with more compression (10:1), it's is taking up 1% for every minute shot..? So, at 10:1, I'll get exactly 100 minutes? It's basically 4x the size of the 64gb card, so shouldn't it be more like 120 minutes if I was shooting 8:1? But, especially at 10:1, it should be more like 140 minutes?

Is something wrong with my card or, are these cards' speeds capped? I really hope my card is just defective.

Also, note... I haven't updated my firmware in a bit... could that be it? I shot with the older 256gb cards, though, and they worked fine; no framerate issues, etc.

The 240 SSDs are new and just came out recently. From my understanding, only the new recent firmwares support it.

Jason - did it give you a better compression ratio? Im having the same issue with mine except the best mine will do is 11:1

I recently got one as well. Mine would say that the card was not usable (can't remember the exact message) and didn't allow recording at all. I was on a crazy old firmware version. Updating to the latest firmware fixed the problem and all is working fine. Definitely a firmware version thing, I'd recommend updating to the latest if you have any weird issues with the 240gb cards. Solved my problems!
