23.976 vs 23.98 (Recording Frame Rate and Project Time Base)

Hello,

Noticed in the project menu when setting recording frame rate the default seems to be 23.976 and the project time base is 23.98. I assume that this is the correct default for a 23.98 shoot but want to confirm. It seems that I can set the Recording frame rate to 23.98 which is why I am confused with Red having 23.976 as default.

23.98 is just 23.976 rounded up. It’s still 23.976. Actually, I think it is 23.97602397602398 (24/1.001).
