How do we know which one is the dead one?One at a time, they will run one down then automatically switch to the other.. so you just pull the dead one out.

How do we know which one is the dead one?
there are little charge status LEDs on the REDVOLTs
Also, I would imagine it starts with slot one, then goes to two, or has some logic in sequencial order.Oh. that works.

There's an LED that shows which battery is currently active.Yeah, but after you replace slot one, then when slot two is the dead one, you need some way to know that so you don't yank the charged one from slot one.
A Dual Redvolt module and a Quad Redvolt charger would dramatically improve my power situation. I have 10 Redvolts and 2 travel chargers, and I still find myself plugging into AC power whenever possible just to keep running continuously.
Anybody have a fairly accurate time to charge a redvolt?
Lack of quad charger is sending me back to v-mounts. I like the form factor of the red modules, but I'll have to see how many v mounts I've bought by the time it is available.
There are also the upcoming REDVOLT-XL batteries, which are like two REDVOLTS stuck together.
I thought they were 90WH (ie 3 Redvolts)?

Looks like right at 2 hours from Jarred's comments. So with the quad-charger, you can [obviously] charge 4 of them every 2 hours. They seem to take about 2 hours and 20 minutes in the travel charger. It's just not practical to spit out one battery at that interval when they only last 25 minutes +/- in the camera. I have two of the travel chargers and 8 REDVOLTS and I always charge them up before a shoot, but only use the REDVOLTS for the few times where I really need to lose the brick.
12 REDVOLTS and 2 quad-chargers should be able to power an EPIC all day...
There are also the upcoming REDVOLT-XL batteries, which are like two REDVOLTS stuck together. Two of them fit into the qud-charger, two will fit into the quad battery module.

You can't order it yet, unfortunately, it's still going through approvals.I am having the hardest time of finding the quad charger. Can somebody tell me where to locate it?
I'm falling in love with the dual battery module.. the quad is great for long durations but the dual just feels good... and hot swapping batteries back and forth is pretty addictive. Im going to need to find some beta testers soon![]()
