  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

1st Scarlet....

Tonaci, you're probably going to cover this in your blog post, but I'll ask this question to make sure you do — can you choose between multiple aspect ratios on Scarlet in camera like you do on Epic?

There is no answer to this on the specs page

Hi Tonaci,

Congratulations on your scarlet and thanks for all the information and footage you are putting online.
I would like to know from you how long a Redvolt lasts while shooting, you said for standby its around 36min or similar. And could you check how long it would last with V-Mount batteries?
Cose I ordered around 6 Redvolts, but if i see i dont get anywhere with those then i would need to change to V-Mount and i would prefer to do that before i get my package...

thanks for letting us know.
Cheers
Sebastian

ill try and post some footage soon, but it looks like Tonaci is already doing a good job in getting you guys stuff to play with...

currently no 1K 120 but why not just use an epic if you need those framerates? :-)

Because I bought a Scarlet and not an Epic. :P

It'd be nice to see what I can get away with. I know I could take an R3D file and just crop in to 1k for the same effect, but it'd be nice to see a shot specifically framed for the 1k crop. If you manage to do a test shot, that'd be great!
