  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

1st Scarlet....

man you are making everyone sooooo happy. just getting to see the footage gets me that much more excited to get my first RED cam. thanks for not being stingy and sharing with the world. A good man you are.

Here are 6 shots I uploaded. I will continue to post short series of shots. This is the "flower" phase. Next up will be landscape time lapses tomorrow.

Any chance we could get an R3D file of one of these clips or any other you may have in motion? Even if just 5 sec.

Thank you SOOOO much Tonaci for all your hard work and getting this footage to us. Tough being the first with the Scarlet, but you've done well sharing it with us all when you didn't have to and I truly appreciate it!

Looks beautiful!!! Can't wait!!!

Could you please shoot 2K 60 fps? That is what I'm most concerned about, as I hear 2K on the EPIC has some compromises and is noisy. Is it the same on the Scarlet? Scarlet owners have no other way to get 60fps.

okay then...it'll blow your nipples off. hehe
lol tonaci, awesome footage man. I know you're overworked but looking also forward to low light shots. I know you mentioned its epic like, it just would be nice to play around with :)

Yeah, Tonaci you're the best! Thanks
I love the RED Raw-Codec and the possibilities of experimenting with it

Shot at ISO 800, 8:1 compression and Zeiss 135mm 2.0 Mark I Super Speed

Thank you so much Tonaci for all your time and effort. The footage looks wonderful and is really appreciated. I apology in advance if this has already been answered but I thought that the Scarlet Max REDcode was RC 6:1 at 4K.
