19mm rods and base plate

Newbie question:
I am buying the 18-85mm Red Pro Lens. I have purchased a support for it from OptiTek. Jacek suggested that I use 18" 19mm rods. What do I need in terms of a base plate for an EpicX to attach camera and 19mm rods to my fluid head. I see various Hybrid systems and such and I feel very confused. I'm in a hurry to get started and some of the things from ElementTechnica are out of stock. Any suggestions? My funds are running low so something economical would help.

The Red DSMC Quick Release pack is the easiest and best IMHO.

This seems to be the least expensive option if you have, or can find the base from the RED Production Pack.

We got ours in the mail on Monday and the build quality and mechanics of it seem really nice. We don't have our Scarlet-X yet, but I set the dovetail quick release on our tripod and tested it out without the camera attached. It's hard to pick any nits at all with this thing.
