Howdy,
I have a few extra lenses and I am selling them.
Right now, I have a Lomo 18mm made in 1989. It has a PL mount. The other one I have is a T-3.3, and is exactly the same, but this one is Marked as a T-3. Don't know if this one is faster, or if the engraving guy was drunk that day and left off the .3
The lens is from the Kinor series, not the Konvas series. The optics were the same on these two series of lenses but the housings are different. The current focus gear is I believe 50 pitch, the same as cannon video lenses. For $150 bucks I'll recut it to a 32 pitch gear. Front of the lens is about 86mm, fits in an arri 87mm reflex prevention ring pretty well.
The lens has smooth focus and iris. It has not been serviced. It has not been collomated. It does get to infinity, and eye focus seems to match up pretty close as far as I can tell. All I have is a PL mount directors finder to look thru it at the moment, and it's hard to judge critical focus on a wide lens when looking at a GG thru the old style arri eyepiece that is only sharp in the middle.
It is marked in meters. I would say over all condition is an 8.5 out of ten. Glass is all clean, no mechanical problems. The Iris blades are shiny, may be because of a little oil. I am sure this lens would benefit from a cleaning and re-lubing.
If you put some chart tape on it, and mark out the distances by eye in feet, this lens should make very pretty pictures and perform well right out of the box, and at a great price.
The rest of my Lomo's are at Duclos getting serviced. He projected them all, said that they looked very good. He said resolution in the corners was a little lower than the Ziess lenses, but over all very good.
I have a spare 75mm Ekran super speed that is also at Duclos right now, I will be selling that later.
I apologize for the crappy pics, but they give you the idea (Iphone too close to focus, didn't realize till too late), if you have to have great pics I'll try and post some better ones tomorrow.
Opening price of $500, if there is no interest, it'll go on ebay. I have done my best do describe this little guy as accurately as I can.
Thanks,
Nick
