  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

wow LOOKS GREAT ,Thans Andrae ..anyone can confirm if it is available for shipping with this batch ,, or still there is wait time ??:help:
 
I emailed my rep on the 7" and here's his email response below from yesterday...

"The LCD has just been released, so we do not have any word on delivery dates. I would imagine that it would not be shipping for a while, and we would ship this item according to camera number. Sorry, but the LCD will not be swappable."

The last bit was my question if by any chance the 5.6" could be swapped out later for a 7" upgrade...

How it is not sawppable ? you mean after recieving your 5 inch Lcd you watn to Swap it to 7 inch . IT is for no doubt not sawppable

or He was spoking about resevation holders that they want to swap from 5 to 7 inch ,, i think why not it will be sawppable
 
Ok folks...heading down the RED booth to finalize my order, I will share some thoughts on all the little things so nothing is left out.

that's what I was thinking...

Too bad, if it was available I would have bought the 7" LCD instead of the 5,6"...
 
i got mine, although i haven't heard back from them after i sent my reply. Maybe everyone's taking the weekend off after NAB. I hope I hear something tomorrow.
 
Got the mail, finalized everything with my rep (thanks to John Restivo for working out everything in no time!) now waiting for shipment ;))
 
No final email yet for 1781... I did finalize my order and ready to wire...preying our batch is not affected by the new delay...any word?

Affected by the delay.
 
Since the RED primes are not available just yet... do we have to pay in full for the RED primes for our RED One to ship? Optimal situation that I would like is to pay for the RED One and all the accessories then pay for the RED primes when they become available.
