its Scarlet because EPIC would not have it's own EVF.

I bet the black glossy cilinder with white RED letters is the viewfinder...

Looks like an accessory handle, ie start/stop on the fly thumb adjustments.

[Peter Mosiman]

and change it totally will

[Martin Stevens]

I am very, very impressed.....and I haven't even seen the full renders yet!

Jim is the Howard Hughes of Digital Cinema!

[Alberto Caprioglio]

The camera is inside the viewfinder! I'm dying!

[Michele Gavazzeni]

It says professional

What's a RED Professional?

[Joseph Ward]

Will DSMC be announced also?

[Zach Zoller]

Wait a minute: am I completely fused or is it the back of a double Scarlet (a 3D camera), that thing in the fifth picture?

You're completely fused :turned:

[unik]

Please Red-Team .... stop Jim from posting images ...

Uhhh, he listened to my words  .... well, so ....

Please Red-Team ... keep Jim posting images

Scam!!!(just contributing to making the S/N ratio approach 0...)

[Zach Zoller]

I'd like to see some drawings/sketches based from the images Jim posted and then in a few hours compare it to the real deal.

Once you go RED you never go back....

[Remy Carter]

Incredible look for everything! That last photo, if the still pro camera, will make all the other photographers run for their lives...

Sounds good. Feel free to post them when you have them done

lol, it's not there yet? All in good fun I suppose

[TallGuy]

For the record, I think each top picture posted so far is of the EPIC and each bottom one is of the Scarlet.

[John V]

Jim is the Howard Hughes of Digital Cinema...except that Howard Hughes had more money

I'll note that, and props if you are correct.

[Martin Stevens]

I feel like I am watching evolution in real-time.

[josemnorton]

I don't know if it's obviously a lens...

It might be a viewfinder.
