when you sell a camera it should just work out of the box, sooooo if it's sold as a DSLR at 3k price point it wont be what was offered as a video camera in the first place. Red Ones are awesome Cameras, however will one of these things cost nearly as much if all this normally integrated equipment on current cameras is marked as a add on. Shit we might have to take out loans in this shitty economy just to have a fully functioning piece of equipment. I'm scared and excited at the same time, RED you've outdone yourselves once more with a great looking product advertised at 3k now lets just hope it won't cost 15 just to take it on a normal day of shooting. (Video that is)

This is standard practice with all professional cameras - you buy the body, and then you will need lots of extras to make it a workable piece of equipment.

It also means you can chose what add-ons fit best to your working style. (And budget).

G'night y'all. This has been fun. But the eyes have been overstimulated and need rest.

If you try and use one of these puppies in Iraq or Afghanistan, prepared to be shot at.

And don't try and film the police officer walking up to your car when you get a speeding ticket.

[Rick Darge]

A million!!

[zac]

that would be one huge, heavy dslr

[Zack CC]

I haven't been this happy in a year and a half - since getting to film school. Thank you; all of you. I'm running around like a freak, about to have a heart attack.

Wow.

And each new configuration offers a new little mind bending element.
[head explodes]
Now I just need to be able to afford it! But I have a goal again!!!!

Yes... three prones on the top is Scarlet, 4 is Epic... but the difference on the overall setup will be minimal
