  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

$1299 Seiki UHDTV 50" SE50UY04 - Bought it today

I somewhat guess that 'full 4K resolution' means 4K@60Hz, not 4K@30Hz of HDMI 1.4 that these TVs already support, and with nvidia mention you probably think of 4K@60Hz with mentioned cards with loosy image compression of YUV 420 subsampling .. i might be wrong, but IIRC these TVs doesn't support that mode. Not that even if they did i'd ever decide to use it, as imho worse image is not acceptable tradeoff for upping refresh rate. Better wait for these, that will have DP port to enable 4k@60Hz from pc gpus without HDMI 2.0 support.
