  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

11 days...

There's still time.

Dude that looks sweet! But you should have fixed the font!!

Jim Jannard/Jarred Land

I could've had a ball with this...

Ironically ... the 13th is my wife's official "due date" (having another boy) but I fully expect the dude to come out early in time for Jim's announcement.

My wife is due (with our second boy) on the 8th - should be out in plenty of time for the announcement.

Besides ... I am hoping to avoid refreshing REDUSER.net on my iPhone while she's in labor ...

If my wife is late there could be problems - I don't have an iPhone... But the hospital does provide wired network connection, so I could take the laptop along.

Instead of fiddling with cameras, Jim, I think you should replace the story editors on "Lost". You know more about cliff-hangers than Hitchcock :). I think you are the "Master of Suspense".

I can see the titles of your movies now; "Strangers on a 4K Train", "Dial in the LUT of Murder", "Red Window", "4K The Birds", "The Trouble With Sony", "The Man Who Knew Everything About Epic", "The 39 Steps of the FedEx Guy" and of course, "Psycho".

This is the part in the movie when Roy Scheider stumbles into your office and says:"We're gonna need a bigger Thread." Then we cut to the cheesy announcer saying: "Will Jim and Red Team survive the ravenous, cut-throat mob of Red Users, desperate for a taste of Scarlet flesh!? Tune in next week!"

I love suspense. I hope it lasts...

What is happening here is special...

Like thousands of other dreamers, I am giddy, waiting for the next level of your program...

Thanks.

No poutine for you then! And we'll have to water your beer down too.

Graeme

.. another two vaporwares on its way :sorcerer:

heh heh they make better Poutine in Santa Monica then anywhere i found in Montreal :)

Although nowhere here comes close to the Asian food in Vancouver ( that I have found yet )

and yeah... the beer sucks.

Stick to the Scotch then Jarred. Much safer. To me, Poutine never tasted as good as it does at the bottom of the ski hill on a really cold day. I don't think I can eat it any more on my diet though :-(

I'm excited to see what you guys are cooking up behind the curtain. I think the Red One was/is a great camera.

What I'm more curious about the new body is if it will have any sort of under/overcranking available. If so and at the right price point/release date it would likely be the most desired camera around.

I'm interesting in keeping things small, light, and versatile.

I am quite impressed with the canon 5d, Lets be honest it looks a lot better than any graining, blurry ex1/lex setup, but if jim says the 5d sucks then scarlet is gona be so good it will blow up my tv!!!

I am SURE that whatever Jim will announce on the 11th will be game changing, but the 5D does NOT look better than the EX1, not by a long shot...

I always thought poutine and beer was pushing it...now we're talking poutine and scotch? Yikes !!!

Anyway...

I've been a silent observer of RED since day 1, and am thrilled to have witnessed these little moments in history...with more to come on the 13th.
