  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

This optional accessory is excellent, turns the module adapter into something merely necessary to gain additional functionality into a unit that is almost indispensible in and of itself.

How do the additional ports interact with other modules attached that have LCD/EVF ports and aux power ports? Which LCD/EVF port(s) would be active if a PRO IO module were attached to this module adapter, for example?
 
So, where's this on the store? This is exactly what I need! Is this in stock at the Hollywood store any time soon (ie. this week, I'm leaving next MOnday). Would need to get some more accessories to allow LCD and EVF to be mounted together as well.

And how much?

I'd also very much like to know if you can exchange the backordered module adaptor in Stage 3 packages for this, paying the difference of course?

I think this unlikely... those who took stage 3 benefited massively with a very genourous subsidy. What may be sliglty more likely is if Red offered to upgrade for a 'good for both parties' price

This would be very good for us too, and willing to wait, and pay whatever additional premium for that module. We've had a bomb EVF since delivery that we've never used since we are missing the redmote.

We're planning to get the proIO eventually, but this would really help the small config in the short term.
 
Of course the difference can be more than the difference in Red's sales prices, but I don't see how they would benefit from sending us a piece of gear we don't need and will never use, when instead they could sell the gear to someone who wants it, and sell us a different piece for more money. Since the Stage 3 payments are done and nothing will be deducted from them, I can only see an upside for all if we'll be able to change backordered items for additional payment.
 
I have yet to receive my module adapter/quad and I hope that Red can make an upgrade path to the new adapter work. it would be so silly to have to order a new one as well and never use the old one.
