  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

+1 Monitor Adaptor

+1

The video I saw looked like it was hooked up to the HD/SDI. Although I seem to recall you can only do one or the other.
The wireless receiver was connected to the monitor via HDMI. I spoke at length with Bob, the head designer of the wireless system, and he said an HD-SDI version will likely follow in the future (along with some other enhancements). Note that you don't connect the camera's HDMI port to the wireless module or anything... the brain passes along a video signal through the modules and it gets transmitted to the receiver that way.

Was there any indication when this is going to hit the store for pre-order or is it a 'it's in the store and available now'? And price...did i read something around the same as the rear SSD module...$1200 was it?

This needs clarification, as I was talking to (I believe it was) Bob, and he told me that the transmitter got signal from the HDMI port as the hot contacts on the brain do not pass video. I hope I got wrong info...

I hadn't caught this posted before... when you say it 'hijacks' the HDMI port, does it actually connect into it or just disable it? Since the camera doesn't allow for HD-SDI and HDMI at the same time, and the HDMI port is now "in use," does it also disable the HD-SDI port?
I'm really interested to learn more about this too. I'd like to be able to use the touchscreen, EVF and my Small HD DP6-SDI at the same time. Is this possible?

[EDIT]Alternatively, does the Pro I/O module "hijack" the HDMI or HD-SDI ports?

Häakon, thats great! Thanks for the info. So that means there will be an HD-SDI receiver for the same wireless module?
So you won't have to exchange the whole thing, just exchange the receiver, correct? I like that modular concept ;)
