Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)
Forgot about Enso (real new) and Hugo actually.
But yes, in terms of volume Arri Signature Primes are the most "out there" in LPL Mount. There are very few Leitz Elise and Hugo sets in the world, but they are nice. There are vastly less of other things on that list. There's only two sets I...
We haven't seen anybody "crack that" yet, but it appears to be technically possible to do Z>RF and Z>L.
There's one sticky pit on the inner diameter, with Z being 55mm and RF being 54mm. That is the real question.
A note to be made. RED will have access to more Nikon Z glass than I will and it sounds like they are making a new lens coverage tool, which is good as I stopped doing that long ago and CVP does a decent job on that front.
But the info I'm aiming at is since RED is now making both Nikon...
RED DSMC3 with Nikon Z-Mount. You now have more lens options and even more adapted lens options.

Also, Trade-In Information...
LPL holds value, though it is essentially a positive lock EF Mount. It's been rather difficult to get the industry to adopt it just yet as there's only two lens sets that require it.
PL with /i Data is vastly more important and thankfully is something that exists. And the eND Mount is less...
Really depends on the project and delivery requirements. But I'll say this, I've been mastering in 4K, 6K, 8K, and higher for years now with "the future in mind" and that has paid off.
Not really suitable for every project, but for a significant amount of my work we master at the highest...
There's a great deal of layers to what tools are needed, in demand, and what each filmmaker will benefit from.
High resolution sensors are not a lack of innovation, not by a long shot. The benefit of oversampling on a Bayer Pattern sensor alone is worth while. And that's before getting to...
Still ongoing, but it's been a tragedy for many. Homes, businesses, landmarks, and more lost. Studios for the most part out of the blast area thus far. Winds have died down, but for a couple of days it was over 100mph gusts and that has really pushed the fires along, knocked down trees, power...
If you're asking if the GPS aspect will damage your camera, no. If you are asking if it's possible to damage your camera body by attaching something, well don't use industrial strength adhesive :) Lots of people have been using AirTags in PL Body Caps or sneaking them into their baseplates.
You'll see other gains for sure with fast motion in frame and motion seen from camera movement. Extended Highlights is pretty nice too once you get familiar with when it can be used in your favor.
My only feedback is pretty positive. The Raptor cameras are the most versatile production...
If you are ever looking for the actual Cooke Look, the S4/i series really and truly are that. Fantastic lenses. I hope whatever happens down the line this is something they build on.
You really, really don't want to delete clips from the card. It's really the worst idea if you care about stable media on any system using flash memory.
Here's everything that's new:
SIGNIFICANT CHANGES SINCE V-RAPTOR 1.7.5
Added Broadcast R3D Project Format
Added Playback to Camera Webpage...
If you are looking to extract stills from motion, that specific type of motion, you'll want to explore a faster shutter speed like 1/250th or higher. If you are on RF Mount on the camera, the Canon 50mm f/1.2L is very good. However, if more budget sensitive the 35mm f/1.8, 50mm f/1.8, or 85mm...
Had a quick look. I would say contact RED Support and send them that exact .R3D Snapshot. Something isn't correct. Potentially a Sensor Calibration may help, but in this case I doubt it.
