Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Reduser started 1.000 days ago. Thanks for the ride so far!
(How did I find out? By chance; while looking for Jim's posts I saw that he had made 4000 posts with a daily average of 4.00 - so I just had to check via the Internets, and indeed: one thousand today.)
The MCS-3400 Media Command Station from JL Cooper is a small main console designed for areas where space is limited and less than eight faders are required. This unit features (4) touch-sensitive motorized faders.

This weekend I finally got around to shoot a rather informal test with all the Contax Zeiss lenses I happily own.
This is by no means a perfect condition test, but was made more to give me an indication of the different lenses' optical performance in real life circumstances.
If anyone has a...

Not shot on RED, but inspiring.
I've tried many different chocolates in my life, but this one here is one purely mesmerizing, unique experience for your taste buds:

Sometimes it really flabberghasts me how Apple does not solve simple problems that have been around for a long, long while.
Today I got stung by the QT gamma bug. Using FCP and Clipfinder I made a short demofilm, rendered everything out with RA to AppleProres422, conformed it in Clipfinder and...

Would love an option where, when pushing the magnify button, it would also get rid of the menu display. Right now one has to push the magnify button and the "get rid of menu" button to get a true 1:1 view.
Pushing the button again should return to the previous mode.
Hi,
If you have two 320gig drives (fully working) and would rather have one 640gig drive, both I and Pawel are willing to pay you $450 each, giving you enough cash to treat yourself to a brand-new, sparkling 640gig drive from RED.

A couple of those babies in a Raid should give plenty of throughput and storage space for the higher data rates of the upcoming cameras?
...is bright.
Not only will we get more capacity, but it will last longer than even stone.

It has been discussed before on how to speed up magazine changes. Some of us would like an automatic format option (where a CF card gets automatically formatted upon insertion). Others are understandably very worried about accidentally formatting a card with data on it.
Here's an idea I would...
