Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)
Does anyone have a manual for Arri's MFF-1 floating around that they could send me a copy of? I couldn't find one online. Trying to figure out how to reverse the gear.
Thanks.
So what do you guys/gals hope/expect/fear/wish that RED will present at NAB 2013?
My uneducated guesses are:
Dragon X - details of the sensor, pricing, upgrade scheme
RED 645 - large format sensor camera. Not only Ketch will be happy
RedMote Pro - finally

So far I've usually used royalty free music, but we've come across a piece by a living classical composer, that just fits the mood perfectly. How does one go about clearing the rights of the composer, if we do the actual recording and arrangement ourselves? Are there some standards, or is it...
Have a steadicam with the older, but great in sunlight, SD monitor. Is there a way to get the Scarlet to output a SD signal, rather than 720p/1080p?

Wishing all my fellow redusers a happy and exciting 2013.
Take a little step back and think about some crazy ideas and humble wishes that you would like RED to deliver in the coming year. No framerates on Scarlet, please.
I'll just start — a couple of years ago RED gave away a R1 for the best...

This weekend I used some off time to have a look at both Media Composer and Premiere. Must say that from a usability standpoint, I much prefer Premiere.
One rather basic thing I have yet to figure out, is how to log R3D files efficiently. Generally it seems that one should not log from within...
