I've been looking for a way to mount a finger focus wheel on my red epic. This solution seemed to work fine, but the finger wheel seems to sit a little too low with this set up. If I take out the bolt that holds the rubber handle on the side handle, I think I can custom fabricate a metal plate...

What are your thoughts on the DSMC2 side handle? Is it worth the money for $950? Anything out there that will make holding the Epic W for run and gun shooting with my hands?

When I am viewing recordings on the Red DSMC2 7" monitor, I get pink hues on areas that are white or hi key. When viewing the recording on the computer screen you won't see it only on the monitor. Anyone else getting this? Red said they are aware and there's no plans on fixing this.

Has anyone used the 24" RED Male Pogo to Female Pogo LCD/EVF Cable from wooden camera on their gimbal? I have not tried it yet, but the cable extension seems kind of stiff where it would knock the gimbal/camera cage off balance or interfere with it not being real flexible? Any insight on this?

Just curious what kind of results from the Zeiss Otus line? I have the Zeiss Cp.2 fast lens and the Otus is a much sharper cleaner lens, but not sure how it does on a Red Epic W or other Red cameras.

I haven't tried yet, but how does time lapse on the Red compare to a DSLR? DSLR seems to have a better time lapse results than video cameras. Video cameras that try to do time lapse looks more like video that is being fast forwarded. How does the red do compared to a DSLR time-lapse?

For the life of me I can not figure out how to expand the recording area of the 7" screen? I have the smaller viewing display but want to enlarge so It takes up the entire screen? Thanks
