Been looking for a solution on finger focus wheel. (Pic inside).

I've been looking for a way to mount a finger focus wheel on my red epic. This solution seemed to work fine, but the finger wheel seems to sit a little too low with this set up. If I take out the bolt that holds the rubber handle on the side handle, I think I can custom fabricate a metal plate where I can mount a custom bracket on top of the rubber grip to raise the finger wheel higher. I will post what I fabricate later of what I come up with. Is there an alternative out there before I put in the effort?

I use NATO clamps and a Wooden Camera bent rail to mount my thumbwheel. Currently setup for focusing with the index finger on my left hand.
