Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)
Hello. i am looking into this. Can you tell me if you are using the gyroscope (horizon) overlay in app ?
If so can you tell me if disabling it help with the issue you have experienced ?
it can be disabled (horizon OFF) on app's 3rd "page" next to GPS above Preset / Guides.
Thanks for reporting...
Thanks Dominic for the report and please let me know on which device model / version on Android you got it working and on which devices it fails.
No guarantee it is fixable as Google sometimes restrict releasing new apps for older version of their OS / SDK but I will certainly have a look into...
John at Gates Underwater made 2 nice quick reference sheets with examples of Ethernet connection :
USC-Ethernet to Lightning (using REDCONTROL on an iPhone)
USC-C Ethernet to USB-C iPad (also works on iPhone 15 and up) with the PRO app

Does the phone asks if you want to trust the connected computer (camera) when plugged-in ?
Did you get to try an ethernet connection (using USB-C adapters on both ends) to a computer or...
I haven't tried it recently but as I understand it --fit 4 will desqueeze and then FIT the image into the destination size (which is the original frame size when not specified) so it would explain the black letterbox bars and similar output file resolution.

After allowing device location access you can turn this GPS feature ON and it will regularly populate the SLATE...
