Hello fellow REDUSERS...as my thread title states, I'm in an EPIC bind! My EPIC is suddenly having some serious issues. While shooting today, the camera started to randomly eject the mag...even though it was NOT removed from the SSD slot. I tried several different mags and the issue...

I need to shoot 25 timebase with my EPIC for PAL and I am going to shoot 25fps for sync-sound. The audio will be embedded directly on the files as I shoot. Should I be aware of any sync-sound issues when shooting 25fps/25 timebase or will I be good to go?

I shoot a lot of network sports profiles for television and I'll often find myself at a live event shooting specialty shots of the featured players, that will be incorporated into the piece. My clients want sound when I'm not shooting high speed, but many times they can only get one sideline...

What's the deal with shooting time-lapse with the EPIC? I can't find any intervalometer settings on the menu pages. Can anyone enlighten me on the process?

I own the EPIC-X and I create 1080p 23.98 files from the HD-SDI output via my Sound Devices PIX 240 File Recorder. If you go to: Settings: Audio/Video: Monitor Control... There is a menu option for BRAIN HD-SDI - FREQUENCY...which is currently set at 23.98 Hz. I am assuming this is correct...
