I own the EPIC-X and I create 1080p 23.98 files from the HD-SDI output via my Sound Devices PIX 240 File Recorder.
If you go to: Settings: Audio/Video: Monitor Control...
There is a menu option for BRAIN HD-SDI - FREQUENCY...which is currently set at 23.98 Hz.
I am assuming this is correct for creating 23.98 files from the HD-SDI output, but it does give me other options:
29.97, 59.94 and AUTO
Should I go with the obvious assumtion that I should stay set in 23.98 Hz when I am creating 23.98 files...or is AUTO the better option?
