Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hello all -
A film I directed (shot on Epic X) is in need of a DCP for a film festival.
Can anyone recommend a service for this? I'm in NJ near NYC if that makes a difference.
Thanks

Okay, so maybe saying "cyber" is just an excuse to have a sale - but what the hey!
From now until Dec 16 anything* at longvalleyequip.com is 20% off. That's the Seven Jib and accessories such as the Follow Frame and Underslung, Super Track Dolly, straight and curved track.
*Sorry but the SKB...
Anyone in the NY or NJ area have some Panther Precision Leveling Track?
I need to test it with our Stingray Dolly Driver. I think the two will play nice but I'm concerned that the leg lock levers on the track might be in the way.
Thanks
Doug

Here it is, quite possibly the best and most beautiful Mitchell hi hat ever created - "The Hat" by Karl Kim. I have a limited number of these for sale - less than 20 - so if you ever needed this type of versatile, robust Mitchell hi hat, now is your chance, but not for long!
As you can see in...

Hello all -
Just finished edit on a short film shot with my Epic X at 4kHD. Transcoded in Redcine to ProRes 422 1080, edit in FCP7, exported to 422 1080.
Now I've been asked to supply DVDs and Blu Rays and I'm wondering what Redusers are doing? Usually I tell customers that I can upload to...
Upgraded to El Capitan and REDCINE 30. I think the SIP in El Capitan thwarted the Redline install. Can't get 4 transcodes at once anymore.
If I upgrade to REDCINE 42 will I be able to run REDline?
Hey gang
,
I need two camera operators to be part of a 3 cam shoot, evening, Oct 22 at High Line Ballroom in NYC.
You: have Red cam with zoom lens (Canon, Nikon, OK) media, tripod , scratch mic. Prefer Red MX, Epic, Scarlet or better. Shoot on 4kHD 29.97 12:1.
Not sure of event running time...
Won the award for Best Feature Cinematography for INFLUENCE at Nice International Film Festival.
Shot on Epic X in 5K, almost all with a 35mm Nikon 1.4 AIS lens. Optic was softer and kinder and more alive than current glass and helped work with resolution of R3D at 5K.
Thanks to Michael...

Studio is about 40 x 40 feet, 12' to white ceiling which I often bounce 1200w HMIs off of for smooth, shadowless effect...
