Here it is, quite possibly the best and most beautiful Mitchell hi hat ever created - "The Hat" by Karl Kim. I have a limited number of these for sale - less than 20 - so if you ever needed this type of versatile, robust Mitchell hi hat, now is your chance, but not for long!

As you can see in the photos, the main plate is attached to speed rail fittings, so this unit is ultra-adjustable for use on slopes, stairs, inside cars, and is adaptable to hood/door/car mounts, sliders, ladders, etc . Anything you can build or devise with 1 1/4 aluminum pipe, you can attach The Hat to it.

Will the 100mm adapter work with other Mitchell mount units?
Like the JL Fisher dollies?
The crap we have to go through to get a bowl type head on those things is insane

Hi Eric

I think it will work with JL Fischer. I haven't tested it, though, but I did try the adapter with every Mitchell base I could get my hands on, including gear from OConnor, Birns and Sawyer, genuine Mitchell (it's still out there!), and others.
