I forgot to post this here when I put the video out. There's not a lot of footage and videos about these online so I thought I'd put this together.
Tested alongside the Zeiss Ultra Primes and some of that's in the video.

I'm working with a big company who needs to send out a link or file request for employees to send auditions to, so that they can't see one another's auditions. The files aren't huge as they're just recorded on their phones. Dropbox has exceeded it's bandwidth (I'm not actually sure how as barely...
Just thought I'd share this here for anyone interested. It's not scientific, did this little shoot for myself then thought some of it might be of use/interest...
What do you think of our reasoning / decision? Dumb? Makes sense? Don't care?
The Arri Alexa Classic kit we bought online was 5k USD with 8 memory cards (x4 64gb and x4 32gb) with high speed license, EF & PL mount, Pelican case, all necessary cables, less than 850 hours use...
An inside look at the impact that shooting too much highspeed B-Roll has had on a “cinematographer” and his brother.

Put together this random list of great value old and new gear we still use all the time. Includes some lenses, cameras, sticks and a bit more. Number one (most used and best value) is $25. Can you guess what it might be? (HINT: We shoot a tonne of interviews)
Curious. Have any of you had...

I shoot a mix of commercial, corporate, doco and narrative content. I think RED is excellent for narrative and commercial work, not so much for Corporate and doco.
What do you think you would be doing in my...
Been meaning to test this for a while as Shane (biz partner) recently shot an Indie feature on the c300mkii (before external braw recording was enabled). Owning a G2 we wanted to check out the c300mkii (not 3) as a relatively inexpensive autofocus interview/gimbal camera to pair with the Ursa...
Coming from a Red dragon I wasn't used to seeing moire and IR contamination, still a fantastic camera I think and the rawlite makes it even better. Has anyone got the rawlite OLPF for the BMPCC 6k? (I assume plenty of people have them as B and C cams) 5:30 you see the Ursa G2 with 6 internal...
Hi wise ones,
I've been using Resolve more and more over Premiere (still using Premiere for some longer form legacy projects).
I'm hoping to get some advice on the best way to setup my Davinci database and cache location.
I'm on a PC 64gb ram, 1080ti.
My footage is stored on Shuttle XL 24tb...
