  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED DAY Paris - Pictures

Thanks to all that came out to the event today in Paris, it was a lot of fun, and Arnaud and his team managed to organize everything smoothly and professionally. It was a pleasure to meet many of the RED owners in France and show new footage, and demonstrate the MX sensor in action on that big movie screen.

And good catch on the lens being upside down on the Epic body :-) I guess I was too preoccupied during the theater setup to make sure the DCPs played correctly onto that big screen to notice!

Rome event is next in a few days....

Thanks to you, Ted, that live M-X demo was pretty cool and being able to manipulate the gear freely was also a pleasure.
It was also great to meet Alan in person, thanks for braving the Eurostar!
And of course thanks to Arnaud and Daisy and the others for organizing this. :)

Thank you Ted and Arnaud to make this happen!
Ted your presentation was great. I was already in love with MysteriumX, but the big news for me was to see Epic in real. I´m completely convinced! What a great little camera. It will change all. Formfactor is georgous...smaller tripods, jibs, cranes...endless list for the pleasure to work with it in future.
Big pleasure to meet Alan Piper, the good soul from pinewood. Thank you to travel all the way from London. I hope you and Ted could enjoy after the presentation a sunny afternoon in Paris.

How about one in Zurich, Switzerland so I don't have to fly to strange places like Paris? :)

Sitting in the front rows and seeing the MX reel projected on a large screen was mind blowing, especially the 2000 ISO Fincher shot... I thought I'd see more noise than on my 17" computer screen, but I didn't...
And the live demo was fun too (camera plugged into the 2K projector and projected in real time through the HD-SDI output, from 800 to 2000 ISO).
And the Epic / Scarlet prototypes are even smaller and lighter than I expected...

Thanks for coming to Paris !

Is there any way we can find that MX REEL that was shown perhaps for download...
