Because they're both being classified as DSMC units. To me comparing the 5D/7D to RED's stuff is like comparing a Bicycle to a Motorcycle. They both have two wheels, but their two different things.

So if the EPIC/Scarlet didn't have the still motion capabilities added on top of REDCODE and all of this other great stuff, some people would think more highly of them? :biggrinjester:
