  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Control...

Having seen all these new renders, I wonder what they are thinking at Canon, given their "big" announcement on Monday, (assuming they are announcing a camera and not a revolutionary new fax machine). Must be a bit disheartening for them:)

Jim,

Looks like you and your team have thought of and implemented everything people could possibly want in the design of this system. Glad you are a perfectionist. Incredible work. You guys are an amazingly talented group.

It looks like this thing comes from an alien spaceship!
Really impressed.

Very good battery design. By making them smaller you get around the TSA air travel regulations!!!

I was just thinking, RED Volt is a good name for batteries. But if you'd have redundant storage options, it could be called a RED Vault - that might be confusing - okay - time for my medication -

Sweet pictures...looks awesome! Love it. Thanks guys. Don't forget to post pics on the Scarlet page too....we need some some attention over there too once in awhile.

I assume the Scarlet will look very similar to the Epic in the pics here...curious if the battery will last a little longer on Scarlet 2/3"?

Thx again for a great looking, cool camera...can't wait to see test shots. I'm sick and tired of getting very little low light performance out of my prosumer cams and look forward to my first REAL camera...a RED SCARLET! I'm psyched.

The Scarlet 2/3rds Brains will be similar but a bit narrower side to side.. same height though. And as mentioned the batteries will last a bit longer on the Scarlets.

There is an adapter module that takes the thinner Scarlet bodies and mates them to the wider back modules, that are all the same for both Scarlet and Epic.

Bloody typical.
I was checking out other cameras today.
A body can only wait just so long.

Fixed lens Scarlet still on the cards or has the simpler option of removable len's taken over the Scarlet design???
Seriously Red, money in the pocket waiting for an excuse to buy something.
