  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I'm in agreement with you guys (Michael & Curran).

I think Mirus is going to rock. But it looks like I may be mounting my Monstro sensor EPIC onto it rather than my RED One.... :whistling:

If I had of been informed that delivery would be 6 months after paying and still no guarrantee, I never would have ordered. I feel like I've already waited forever, what's a few more weeks....hopefully not months. At this point I have the time investment and rentals paid out during the multiple delays. Anyone that feels like this is a good way of doing business will not do well. I think is't unaceptable.

Worth the wait

Worth the wait

Curt, John and William dropped by our open house yesterday and treated us to a full system demo. Wow!

While we are just as eager as the rest of you to get our hands on Imperios and Inclinos we are happy they took the time to get it right. Really impressive performance in terms of torque, accuracy and flexibility.

We've often been on both sides of this discussion and while waiting sucks, it is even worse to make the decision to postpone the shipping date. That decision is never made lightly and I know when VFS does so, it's in our best interest.

We also figured out a great way to mount the wireless receiver with our Speedy Clamps. Here is a photo of the receiver with a speedy clamp. I just used a socket cap screw in the photo, but we'd use button cap sockets in the future for a more low profile, sleek look.

It's an incredible system, the backlash on it was less than a brand new FF5. It also had no lag, and the Impero FF wheel had a great feel to it. We also got to see it work with the Birger Mount, now that's cool!

Thanks Stephen & Chris, this endorsement by a high end company like Element Technica really means a lot. The wait will be worth it.

Sing with me. . .

"Where, oh where is my View Factor gear?
Oh, where oh where can it be?
Since my Birger won't ship and my View Factor's stalled,
My RED's just as sad as me."

:-(

LOL @ VF Stalled

I was also wondering about them maybe designing a controller like the mircoforce that would allow us to use one of the motors as a zoom controller.

Matthew

Great Idea!

Does anyone remember the Supergrip. I thinks it's still in development:

anybody recieve there units yet??

I keep telling my guys we sould see it in febuary, but now with the lack of news i don't know.

So Sad... 2008 passed.. 2 days left of January and VF's non-intelligible logical (waiting period) never ends...

Curt.. Can you please update us..

Big update tomorrow after lunch. Kwan, if you are upset with our service or whats happening with the delivery time then we would be glad to refund your money if you placed an order.

I only encourage people like Curt who dare to develop a system like they are doing (or have already done by know mostly). If it takes the time they need I'm sure we'll be satisfied with the result they'll provide to us.
Life is not always predictable and adventures as these certainly aren't in any way.
