I think they made a goof when they first put the clock online... Appears fixed now. 8AM California time on thursday sound pretty reasonable to me.

I'm skeptical as well, as I consider TTL OVF to be required. But I'm open minded about it.
If so, then I'm already disappointed, since the DSMC is the only proposed product that interests me. Well, unless Scarlet is the DSMC, which makes little sense to me.
To me pictures/images/stills are all the same thing, as are movies/video/motion. The quality of each can certainly cover a wide range, but the real difference is a single frame versus many frames taken at a steady cadence. Some people say things like "I don't take pictures, I capture images". Whatever. Same thing with "I don't take video, I shoot motion pictures". Cough up some quality, I don't care what you call it.
As EVF displays improve, optical viewfinders will be displaced.
Until they start getting updated at around 500fps in good light, and 60fps in lousy light, I'll have to stick with my optical TTL finders. Plus, no one has yet convinced me that contrast-detection autofocus will *ever* be as fast and reliable on fast-moving subjects as phase-detection autofocus. And I don't know a way to do TTL PD AF without a mirror. EVFs use too much power anyway. I like my batteries to be small, light, and last all day.
Wait, there's a 6 AM too!?
Sorry, you're off a bit.
