Fincher, Lubezki, Nike, RED#0031, + 3 other REDS

[dino g]

stay tuned, shoot starts today.

[Brook Willard]

DAMMIT, I shouldn't have been busy doing this excruciatingly lame job...

Good luck on it, Dino. Wish I was there.

[Omar Saad]

That is awesome! I can't wait to hear feedback on how this goes.

Shooting on B16?

[Brandon Fraley]

holy shit, must see this now!

[Casey Green]

This is great news. In the past, David Fincher has been using the Viper with the S2 data capture system.

Our Union (Local 695 - Sound and Video) held a training session on the S2 for our operators, and it looked so archaic. It is common practice to delete unwanted takes just to save hard drive space during the day. That scares me.

I think Fincher is going to be blown away by the difference in quality and work flow. Can't wait to hear the results.

(btw, kosmos, PM me if you are looking for some Local 695 RED data capture operators.)

[NormLi]

How long will it take to post it and see some footage!! Amazing combo.

[Alexander Nikishin]

Fincher and Lubezki also do commercials? Must be one very high paid commercial for those two to work on it.

Congrats.

[Craig Ryan]

Damn...Nike pulling out the stops eh? Probably going to run during the Olympics...no wonder.

Get some on-set photos, baby.

[Brandon Fraley]

I got to say hi to Claudio at cinegear a small thrill for me. I think he thought I was a weirdo, not that he'd be wrong

[Yannick Hagman]

kosmos3d, this is way too cool.

Fincher is one of the best paid commercial directors and was it long before he made any features.

[Corrado Silveri]

Stills, please! On-set pictures, please!
