I wasn't going to post this stuff until I saw Haskell's post. I figure I better give a shout out from the west coast. This material will be used in the LA Galaxy material we're doing. I need a day to night transition.

The power windows should run out the end of the frame and some other CC adjustments but you get the idea. I just whipped this out quick from FCP 1k proxy time line. No real CC.

Hey does anyone know how to get your quicktimes to play in the browser while they are downloading? Mine used to do that until I started using the new compressor in FCS 2. I've tried switching from downloading to streaming.....can't figure out what controls that. Now you have to wait for it to download entirely before it will play.

4k 2:1, RC 28 to CF. F11 on the first one to create the shape of the flare on the sun. The rest were wide open at f/2.8. All shot on the same day. While the sun was up the shutter speed was 1/500 and the last one was 1/4. They will play faster in the final cut but I like having the extra frames so I can modify the speed later. The intervals were 16 sec on the first one(but it's speed is doubled here) so it's more like 32 sec. The others were 5 sec intervals. Except for the wild little bit at the end. That was shot at 3fps.

You need to set the streaming option in the setting inspector to 'fast start' or 'fast start compressed header' as in the capture below.

A little confused here. So you doubled every frame used to make it 8 second intervals or did you take out every second frame making it 32 second intervals? Was the original faster or slower?

It was shot at 16 second intervals. But I have doubled it's speed in post so it's essentially like I shot it at 32 sec. You're right I went backwards. It's faster than the original.
