Hi Guys, just sharing some work.

Sorry about the small h264 movie size.

We shoot 6 countries in 9 days, on the RED of course
Cost worked out to about $120,000 less by not shooting film.
This savings worked into clients budget perfectly and the Client loves the results.
The ad was mastered 2:1 2k, it's being played in Cinemas (burnt to film) and on HDTV.
Pictures came out exactly as planned. if not better.
Client also used images from the AD in PRESS, Billboards, WEB. They printed up perfectly.

What was nice, I didn't have the normal 40 person circus following me around.

JIM & RED team.....Thankyou.

Great work Big T.

Everything you mentioned in your post are the reasons I bought this camera in the first place. To hear a story like yours that this is how it worked out for both client and yourself is very encouraging.

That would have been a fun 9 days of shooting - superb locations.

Couple of quick questions in regard to travel -
Do you take your RED carry-on or do you check it?
Did you take a RED body backup (or have backup plans in the chosen locations) or was it a one-camera 'fingers crossed' kind of thing.

Cheers

Carry on, Had 4 crew come with me to spread it over.

Yes to a back up body, Risky business not to. Irresponsible id say is a better word. Didn't need it, but you never never know.

Fantastic work Mark! Just great.

Big T.

I saw my RED Hong Kong ( Causeway Bay ). Good I like the acoustic guitar music in the Video.

When were you shot in HK ? Filmart 2008 ( March ? )

I got my RED one in Mid March in HKG, if I knew the project I could join you to shoot more HKG wonderful scenes.

Good RED shootings.

Stew.

Love it! It breaths. It looks so easy going (guess it was hard work). Great work, please put it on Redrelay.
Tell us more about travelling with Red.
Thanks for sharing!

We shot about 3 weeks ago, Used a great line production company CINETEC in HKG, Wendy Wang.
We took our own gear with us. The shooting was nice in HKG, the light was flat and warm.

The weather was bad right ? HKG has got the " Bloody " english weather in May - mid June.

We have floods in recent days in HKG as well.

Keep up the good work Big T.

Thanks for shooting in HKG with RED.

STEW.
