I notice I cannot post a question on the Scarlet forum and if I try to log in with my password and username that I set up for Red it does not work.

I thought 1 username and 1 password would get me into all of the forums for Red..am I wrong?

Thx-

Ok...I guess I will.

What is the logic of having to get 2 user names and 2 passwords to go to both the Red Forum and Scarlet? I can't figure any sense it that. I like to go on both with just 1 username and 1 password.

Anyone at Red with an answer or better yet a change to this simpler format?

Thx-

consolidate consolidate consolidate

make it easy for people

at the least, use a shared database so each site has the same membership accounts, regardless of domain name

Yeah. This is ridiculous! I just went on to register, and someone has taken my username! :angry03: I don't like the idea of people confusing me for the other guy and vice versa. Is there any way I can claim my same username back?

There are going to be thousands upon thousands of Scarlet owners who will never touch a RED ONE in their life. To be honest, I'd rather keep the discussions as separate as possible. I'm glad Jarred separated them.

If I have any influence I say keep the forum separate BUT use let people use the same user name and password for ALL Red products and camera lines.

Keep it simple.

I and maybe many others are interested in all the lines of Red and would prefer not to have to juggle passwords and usernames between each product.

Thx -

I assume www.epicuser.net is right around the corner as well. Bidding ends on the 19th of this month.

no need for epicuser. the epic people will be most welcome here, since most of them will probably be even more professional and sophisticated shooters than red one folks.

we might actually get some more big name DPs and directors showing up on the epic forum.
