I really liked how easy and fast the design makes it possible to switch from 15 to 19....... And the vertical height adjustment, and, and, and.....

I love the size.... It's big, which makes for great curb appeal! It made my Red look a Big Bad Bulldog! Rrrrrrrrugh!!

But, as others have pointed out, what I like the most is...........

The Price! :)

Hey thanks a lot for the encouraging words, but I can take very little credit personally. There are a lot of hard working folks at Redrock who make it happen

Karim - regarding the microFollowFocus for Red, it works today with 15mm rods - the fit is a bit tight. We have a gear upgrade in the works that will make the fit much nicer, and works with the existing microFF

Do donuts for different size lenses ship with it too?

By the way, like everyone else here is saying, this is a very wicked mattebox especially for the price.

I find that I'm needing a little more "lift" off of Red's 15mm adapter in order to get the Redrock follow focus to clear the Red handles (which are attached to the lower 19mm rails). And by lift, it's like I need to add another 3/4" plate to the Red 15mm adapter, so that the Redrock ff can sit up a little higher and clear the Red handles.
 
Sean - there is some variability depending on the type of lenses used. I used the Red lenses and they worked great with no mods. The update we are working on I think will be exactly what you need

SF - not sure to what product you are referring, but the microMB pricing has been detailed in another thread. Just search for "microMateBox"

Thanks Brian. But to clarify, it isn't the lenses that are an issue. It's the actual clearance between the 15mm rods (on which the RR ff is mounted) and the 19mm Red rods, when I"m using the Red 15mm rod adapter. If you mount 15mm rods above the Red 19mm rods using Red's adapter, you only get a bit more than an inch of clearance between the two rods. And if you have Red handles on the 19mm rods, there's not enough clearance to slide the Redrock follow focus on/off/along the full length of the 15mm rods: the bottom of the RR ff bumps against the top of the Red handles, so you have to take the dang Red handles off to slide the ff off. More bothersome is if you have a long lens and need to slide the RR ff forward, you probably can't.

Brian- The last e-mail you sent out regarding the Red package included a bottom flag. However, the Red package listed on your web store states the same price sans bottom flag. Is that correct?
