  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

VFS Store up and running... turning on tomorrow

Hey guys... working out the issues right now.

Mytktyl.... yes, we put the wireless version up front. We may revisit the low cost micro at some point but we wanted to concentrate our efforts on the wireless to address the massive demand that we've seen via email requests.

can we pay via wire tranfer?
and how about a payment...
1.deposit or
2.everything right now or
3.pay shortly before delivery and get a res. No?

There seem to be some typos in your "Terms of Use":

3d. Deposit payments in the amount of ,500.00 USD or greater will only be accepted via wire transfer or cash equivalent (such as money order, cashier’s check, or personal check drawn from a United States bank).
3e. Balance Payments – Buyer must pay the full remaining balance of the invoice before order will be processed for shipment. Yeah, we can take payments up to $7500 I believe... I'll make sure we correct the terms. Thanks for the heads up.

UPDATE: The php script that runs the terms of use page was messing up the dollar value. Its fixed now.

Hey folks, we are working like crazy talking to the credit card gateway to find out why things aren't going through... hold off for a bit until we get this sorted out. Shouldn't be more than an hour to get it squared away.
 
Curt, I went ahead and ordered the Impero and Inclino and wanted to know if it's ok if I order the cables before they ship? Or should I do that now?

BTW My discover card worked :)
 
Holy shit!! Curt, am I reading this correctly? $900 motor+$89cable+$775 = $1764 for a complete wireless FF solution?? Then only $1800 more for ff+iris+zoom? Wow!!!!

You're the first 3rd party vendor I've seen that's actually following the Red pricing revolution too :-)

When you get the 2nd and 3rd motors, you'll need the pro controller too...

But having said that. Yeah I agree. When I watched the C-Motion presentation at IBC2007 I fell for the idea of wireless FF... I love that we can get a Redolution kit!!!

I hope that the VBs come up with their own cinetape device that works with the remote FF and will give us depth of field and such on the screen, like the C-Motion... that is a super cool spec.

The Impero will switch between Iris, Zoom and FF. So you can do it with just the impero. You just won't be able to control more than one at a time - unless I'm misunderstanding something.
 
Ok, so we contacted our credit card gateway provider and it looks like their servers were down at the exact time we turned on our store.... lucky us. It seems like the store is working better now... If you did not get a confirmation from the store then go ahead and try to place the order again. Let me know if anyone has any problems.
