Ions build lock Komodo

I'm looking for to unlock a ions build Komodo 6k. How do i process?

Hi Gabriel,

Best thing to do is contact RED support and submit a ticket along with the camera's pin number and a log.

To check the pin:
Menu > System Settings > System Status > Camera Info > Camera Pin

To Export a log:
Menu > Maintenance > Save Log
Plug that card then into a computer to copy it over and attach to the ticket.

They can they have a look and see what's going on.

hey Guys, I just discovered an IONS Build Firmware on my Komodo ... how can I get rid of that and do a proper upgrade ???

Hi Jonathan, it looks like you have some knowledge about this IONS buils software on KOMODOs. I've never heard anything about it and now it shows up on one of my Komodos and I cannot update the firmware becaus of that IONS build ... SPOOKY ... hope you can help ... BEST ANTION

If your KOMODO is stuck on an IONS build and won’t accept a normal firmware update, the safest option is to contact RED Support directly. Include the camera PIN and export a system log from Menu > Maintenance > Save Log so they can check the firmware status and advise the correct unlock or upgrade process. I wouldn’t try forcing another firmware version before support confirms the proper procedure.
