After two years being with Athos Insurance, which was great, I went shopping around to see if their pricing was competitive. I found an entertainment insurance agency in Burbank, California called United Agencies. They gave me a quote underwritten by Zurich American for 35% less premium for about the same coverage. My insurance guy told me Zurich American is a large underwriter and very reputable. Anyone have any experience with Luke Gelineau (the agent) or United Agencies?

No experience, but I also use Athos and would be curious to hear reports. (I don't have any complaints about Athos.)

He's my agent. I was referred to him several years ago by a friend in Atlanta, after my long time insurance company/underwriter, Liberty, told me that they would no longer cover me, because I "worked in TV". Even though I've been doing the same thing for almost 25 years and only had one claim, 15 years ago. I haven't had any problems and he is very quick to respond. I needed to add a new lens to my policy a few weeks ago and also get a COI/proof of insurance coverage for the financing company(Canon) and I think it was all taken care of in maybe 30 mins or so, from the first email I sent him.

Good to know you've been dealing with him for several years, Christopher. His response time is amazing in dealing with the preliminary quote and question emails.
