Up for sale is a set of Zeiss T1.4 B-Speeds. They are in great condition, no oil on blades, smooth barrels. Sale includes the case seen in the picture. Edit changed Superspeeds to B-Speeds, Please read Jeff's explanation:-) http://www.reduser.net/forum/showth...5-50-85-T1-4&p=1268095&viewfull=1#post1268095

Lenses are located in San Diego and I would prefer to sell to someone in SoCal as making sales of these items I think are better done face to face. However I will make some exceptions for people outside of SoCal. WILL NOT ship to low post count members, if you have low post count I will only sell if you are local. More pictures available of each individual lenses to serious inquires. M
ALL sold!

Very interested. Price please...

also interested - can you pm the price as well.

thanks

Hi! Are they still available? Could you let me know the price?
Thanks!!

Hey George,

FYI - These are B-Speeds
Are these converted to PL-Mount or fitted with B-PL Adapters?
Did you originally have the 18mm with the set?
How much?

Hi jeff,
I did a quick search into it, and it looks like for these MKI they're refered to as both superspeeds and b-speeds. That said I'll admit I'm no expert on this and since they were made around the time I was born I can only read online and hear from others about the product's history:-P

This set was converted to PL-Mount and not fitted with an adaptor. I purchased this set as you see it and never had an 18mm. Price sent with PM:-)

Thank you for the pics George.
They are B-Speeds for sure & are very well maintained & in excellent condition not to mention your price is very fair.
I'll pass your pics & pricing along to a potential buyer to see what they think.

I've attached some pictures to show you the visual differences in Zeiss 35mm format Speed Primes per our email exchange the other day.
1. Zeiss T1.4 B-Speeds - These lenses were born with B-Mounts for use on the Arriflex BL-1 & BL-2 film cameras. There are both footage & metric focus marks with 180-degree rotation (metric is hidden underneath the added focus gear) Your set has been modernized/upgraded with hard PL-Mounts, focus gears & 80mm delrin front adapters.
2. Zeiss T1.3 Super Speeds - Mk1 - The barral design is completely changed from the B-Speeds, now manufactured in PL-Mount with footage & metric focus marks on the top-side of the focus gear but with only 180-degree rotation.
3. Zeiss T1.3 Super Speeds - Mk2 - Same barral design as Mk-1 but now the footage & metric focus marks are on opposing sides of focus gear with 360-degree rotation. Also, the iris gear was updated to match the focus gear.
4. Zeiss T1.3 Super Speeds - Mk3 - Another barrel design change & now available in either Feet or Meters. More user friendly for the focus puller . . . the focus & iris marks are much larger & rotated for easy visibility/operation from either side of the camera.
There are mechanical changes with each version of course . . . these are just the visual differences.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Jeff for the information on these lenses:-) Out of curiosity were the superpeeds MKI and B-Speeds made roughly about the same time or did one come after another?

Perhaps Moderators can change the title of the thread? hehe

Set is still available:willy_nilly:
