[FS: OPTICS] Zeiss Ultra Primes (Set of 5) - NEW - Priced to sell!

Norm,

Do we know Dragon coverage on UPs yet?

Norm,

Do we know Dragon coverage on UPs yet?

This is precisely the question that has led me to wait to purchase high end primes.

I am not sure if they cover 6K.

However, I am more concerned about 5K at the moment and what lenses cover 5K with the aesthetic I prefer. Right now Cooke is what I prefer and it just covers 5K, which I am happy with. :)

That being said, I think the Ultras and Masters are supposed to cover 6K, but don't quote me on that.

Damn, I was afraid of that. There is maybe a couple sets in the world that will have a wide that covers 6k currently?

Summilux-C series (from 18mm) is the only complete set I've heard. Are there more wide lenses that go below 18mm that cover 6K? Talking cine lenses here :)

According the Phil, there are quite a few in the set incapable of full 6k.

In fact, the only true coverage is the 50mm, 75mm and 100mm.

Wow, ok that was good to know. And a big thanks to Phil :)

Not sure.

I think just shoot at 5-5.5K for 16 and 20mm if they vignette at 6K. Let's not forget that 5k is pretty awesome still and that projectors are still trying to standardize at 4K mainly.
