  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Thanks Les. I haven't had a chance to magic lantern-o-matic my 5D III yet, curious to see how I can incorporate the footage from both camera. Not sure if it is worth doing. I think the BMPC will be a nice match for me instead. I prefer the look of s16

Thanks Ricky! I actually used the 8mm for most of the shots. The 35mm was primarily used in the kitchen shots and a lot of the outdoors was with the 10-120, an amazing lens. A pain to focus with at the beginning but I got used to it as I went along. I think the Scarlet was made for vintage glass, the two together just are incredible
 
Hello Red Gang,

Wondering if anyone has any advice for getting the best possible export out of PPCS6 for sites like Vimeo and YouTUbe? It's been awhile since I have had to do such things and long gone are the days of Media Cleaner :)
 
First time I really think the 16mm / 2 k stuff really lifts the content of a film. Really nice done, very interesting and I could not think of a single bit of this little film that I would like to be different. It's simply captures NY in one big scope. Even sound mix levels and backround noise is just perfect.


You should make some sequels to this, definitely want to see more.

The next video is in the works and will be in black and white. Wish I had an epic monochrome for it but it will have to be with my Scarlet. Cheers
