  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

This thread here is about the customization and redesign of the Laing M02, the other one about the election of a rig for the group buy (all those rigs can fly a RED one and do also fulfills other requests).

David, let's be more correct here. As "all those rigs can fly a RED one" is just opinion and not fact. Especially as it is not related to M-02, even present one, not group buy version.
As far as I checked voting was for all but Laing, but people posted test related things in this topic, hence discussion is in it. Cross posting every post of this discussion is just unproductive.
As it'll be ended topic will return to be Laing free, as you wanted, I am sure.

As for group buys, I am sure that each member can decide himself, even if it'll be 5 different group buys, or even some indicidual buys. As each one must select best option for him. The more options, the better.
 
I don't really post that often as I do observe, but Vitaliy, I would tread carefully. The way you are handling the situation has made a lot of potential buyers lost trust in the brand(that you apparently "represent"). Me included. If david's original plan went through it would have been smooth as butter and a lot of users would be happy to see modifications made based on user input and his efforts of communication. But you coming in sideswiping this deal out of Laing direct casts a very bad shadow on your end.

Thanks for your input, in fact as I see it is your first post. Last time I checked you were not in the interested buyers list, never completed survey. So, it is not me to blame in it.

As for difference, do not worry, it'll be both fast and smooth. We moved quite significantly :-)

Totally agree, you are too much agressive Vitaliy...
I've read all your posts and there are really not so cool...
I don't know wich profit you take from this group sale to fight so much...
You are the only reason I'm not interested anymore into the Laing model...
If I want it, I will order the original directly frome Came, but I will never go thru you...

All that is being suggested Vitaliy, is to take a small step back and allow people to come to a decision. It's great to have a personal interface like yourself, that can listen and answer questions as needed. If you have any updates and improvements on the rig, by all means throw in your post and we can add that information to the collective and enable the best choice.
Though being so defensive does slightly tarnish the idea of purchasing your product, which is a fantastic rig at the offered price. You are acting as a representative of your system, people will judge it by your professionalism.
They were only suggestions, act as you will.

Do not worry :-)Why are you so sure my approach do not work properly? In fact it works good, take you, for example, you not participated in survey.
And now I know that are still quite interested in Laing product :-) Good for all.

Check again my good sir, I am indeed on the interested buyers list (Michael Reedy - Australia) and I answered on the poll of which stabilizer system interested my needs the most (which I answered T2000).
Looks like you have opted to go with defensive, so I shall leave you to your sales pitch. Best of luck :)

Hmm, my bad. Did not checed that list was updated. I really glad that you selected product you like, that is in different price category anyway.

Do I have enough posts to be critical of you? I am also on the list of interested buyers. The way you have acted on the forum and the numerous PMs you have sent me has made me want nothing to do with the Laing. I'm sure many others feel the same. You really should take it down a notch...

Perhaps the language barrier plays a part here also.
Anyway, no need for extended chatting, we are just waiting for the updated specs for the LAING Reduser Special Edition and then we can all place the order and live happily ever after.

Vitaliy, you can continue to resist the lessons life is trying to teach you through this experience (which clearly have a lot to do with the development of personal qualities like humility, respect for others' opinions and observations, being cooperative rather than confrontational, and so on). The more you resist these lessons, the more life will bring you increasingly loud and unpleasant experiences until you get the message.

Long before this latest batch of posts and your responses to them, your behavior and approach to this group buy made me wary of buying a product through the company you represent. That wariness is now perilously close to absolute refusal. That's a shame for me because it may mean I will have to withdraw from the group buy entirely. If you don't see that your alienation of others in a similar way is pointing to a problem you need to address within you, it's your loss as well.

Well, I think the lesson here is your additional commentaries on all the threads has caused you trouble. Keep it to the facts about your company's product and leave the commentary to the group.

Is it me or does it seem the laing group sale may evole into a direct marketing endeavor, no longer controlled by Redusers but by a very determined representative of laing. I'm not comfortable with giving my direct email on the survey as that has a way of putting me on every darn marketing list known to man. So I will not participate in the latest survey, but I am still very interested in the final REAL group sale rig(s) "we" come up with, or not. So long as it is posted on the forum and not through other channels.
