It may (or not as I did not test myself) work on EPIC/Scarlet with a PRO I/O module as it has the same GPIO connectors the RED ONE has...

for EPIC/Scarlet direct connection the start stop trigger needs to be powered with a battery that he original origo did not have...

so wait until viewfactor releases a new version... or try :

- to hack it yourself with a small lithium battery like I did on my aaton handle using the wiring instruction found in EPIC manuals...

Andy from MadlyFins here, we're also working on a product that will (among other things) enable the use of the Origo with the Epic/Scarlet. Should be out January 2013!

My origo works with my Epic when used with the pro I/O. It triggers record and stop record, just the record indicator light does not light up on the origo. I use it when hand held shooting.
