Forgive me if i'm just missing it, but as far as I've seen there's no total frame count available for a project/bin, this would be incredibly helpful with estimating the total time for a batch to transcode via calculating the average fps that the transcode is operating at (my current 5K 2:1 render is running at 17.4 fps w/ a rocket). I have been doing it manually by adding up the total frames in each clip but know that there must be a better way!

Thanks in advance!

If you plce all clips from bin to timeline you will have a very estimate for total duration (in TC or frames).

My small cataloging app (foolcat) will also calculate total frame count, duration and file size for a whole folder/drive when making a catalog of R3Ds.

An average 20-minute reel is about 28,000 frames at 24fps. Assuming a 120-minute (6-reel) movie, it's about 172,000 frames and change.

Many conforming engines like Clipster, Quantel iQ & Pablo, plus color-correction systems like Baselight and Resolve will give you a running count of frame numbers.
