Just showed up, opened here are a few pictures, I'm going out to Garden of the God's and Manitou here shortly to get some footage. Some light snow with Sun breaking through. Be kind! First RED camera :)

I want to thank my rep Madeline and everyone on RU that's helped me along with advice. Big shout out to Zac for helping me along the way.

I plan on getting a top plate of some kind since my top handle does catch my Brick on the back of the VF APU plate!

edit. I tried to post some photo's but couldn't get the links from flickr to work. Any help with that would be appreciated...

Please be kind it was -6 today and the light was flat. There isn't audio either. The shot's are a bit wobbly since I didn't have time to get my tripod out and the deer was Skiddish anyways so I was chasing him around the meadow. First shot was 4K 24fps with Canon 24-70 2.8L, Second shot with cut was 3K 48fps with Canon 24-70 2.8L. I'll post a more substantial edit once I get a bit more acquainted.

Edit: 1/13/11

I went out and shot some dark low light stuff tonight. Here are some screen grabs from the footage I have. I'll put it together in the next few days. One of them is purposely out of focus. I tested some HDRx shots in 3K, also tested some vary frame rates and timelapse capabilities using 5K.

Very lucky to meet up with James Drake tonight a fellow Reduser, and we did a couple of shots for his upcoming blog at 5kinsight.com, comparing the Scarlet and Epic. Here are a couple of grabs I'll post more and video soon.
