  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Where in line are we and how manmy ordered?

For sure. Good luck on your Epic. I hope to do the same but not sure how close i'll come over the span of the next year. Hoping to even be able to afford the Dragon update at this point. I saved for this camera for 3 years and it's quite a bit more than planned. Now I have an update coming haha. I even had to skimp on RED Armor with there new policy I'm not to fond of, which I don't want to do but such is life.
 
Yeah that's awesome, I am truly excited to be shooting with RED... I am using all RED equipment and am so excited about it... Although there are some things that RED does not have, like Steadicam, and things like that, that I will need as well.

ordered from RED studios on the 3rd. Just caught up on this thread, pretty excited to see I'm up there in line and that there are a few Ti mounts in front of me so I might squeeze in the top 20 in line!

Did you mean pl mount?
 
From what I understood at the Nov 3rd Scarlet announcement event the Ti Canon mount would begin shipping Nov 17th as they already existed and the new Aluminum Canon mount would ship starting Dec 1st.
 
That is what I understood to. I ordered the TI Canon mount partially for that reason as well.
 
That's how I understood the shipping of Scarlet Ti too, but o'well...guess I have to wait a bit more for my new toy -that's life sometimes, just rollin' with the punches.
 
The Titanium PL Mount will be shipping on the 17th, and the Canon mounts will be shipping on the 1st of December.

That's how I read it as.

Me to but this was not the case. Only a couple of days i learned they start shipping 1 dec as the ai canon mount.

Don´t forget the 300 at Event who was given priority.

I believe they will ship later. Jarred posted that if someone had an open order, they were ahead of Scarlet. In the referenced post they were talking about the side handle, but hopefully it applies to all open orders. :) Sounds like the Ti Canon mount is backordered through mid December.
 
Just FYI to throw something else into the mix - I ordered the Ti PL mount on the 4th (with a bunch of stuff, order 51587), then a second separate order 12 days later for a couple of extra DSMC travel chargers. Rec'd notice today that the chargers are shipping… nothing yet on the camera package.

Puts my mind at ease though since I thought I was going to be caught short with flat batteries.

I ordered my SCARLET on the 3rd at 1030pm, and paid the deposit on the 4th. but I also bought $20,000 more gear on the 4th too. I have received all of the gear except for the SCARLET and the TOUCH LCD.... Although I received an email last week from my bomb squad rep telling me that my TOUCH LCD was ready, and I emailed back but have not heard anything from him. Of course they are super busy, so I am not complaining, just hanging out instead. besides, midterms, and thanksgiving have me pretty busy anyway!
