Canon 300c Specs as they come

[Jean Pierre Schoch]

yes you are right, but what is new? if you think this way everything is a redesign these days
...but RED was the first that applied this concept to a "new" technology

[James Carlsen]

do you really want to deal with a depth of field that shallow?

A canon 50ml 1.2 looks ok at 1.2 but is SMOKES at 2.8...

At the widest they always look a little gooey but stop them down a bit and they'll blossom

[Curt Schulz]

Those lenses are awesome! They look just like the CP.2s---here's hoping the prices are good. Remember Canon and RED can play nice together---lots of chest puffing on this thread....

[disuye]

+1 for more info on the DSLR hiding at the back of all the product shots. Has the same red enamel badge as the C300.

p.s: ppl please stop reposting crummy specs from DVIinfo ... Engadget is front row – wait for them to spell it out.

[James Carlsen]

True... What is that?

Hopefully the elephant /// As of know I aint seen nothing that blew me anywhere !

[Adam Johnson]

DILIVERS 4K means 4K what are you missing

Yes, the lenses are 4K resolution. Unless the camera records 4K resolution it is not 4K. Am I missing something?

Its REDUSER would you expect anything less? hahahaha

[Jonesy Jones]

$16K. Not in my price range. Sorry. Another hour or so and we'll see what materializes here.

Exactly

[Rick Burnett]

Given their pricing of this new camera, I am scared to know what the lenses will be priced at Love the camera size, but the cost should at MOST $8k.

REMEMBER they have not MENTIONED a price, only DVINFO HAS

yes your missing the "DELIVERS"

[Justin Marx]

I'm betting WAY less than 16G's

[Perry Wilson]

they arent going to give price till scarlet event starts

Yup... Only a fool ;-) would come to think that a camera like that is 16 grand

[Carey Lee Coffey]

What a chaotic storm of conjecture.

I'm not sure we've gotten a real price yet. I think it's all been conjecture.

[Brad Walton]

I think Red will definitely benefit with Canon's announcement if their lenses truly resolve 4K. I'm know lens expert, but it gives Red users even more glass options. Especially, if Canon sticks with their lens affordability.

[David Stewart]

They even have a "Canon-mote" wtf haha

Yeah, but what's the point if everything is manual - fancy on/off switch.

[Perry Wilson]

What a chaotic storm of conjecture.

full of feeble idiots that believe DVInfo lmao

[Kyle Gentz]

REMEMBER they have not MENTIONED a price, only DVINFO HAS
